Guy Ritchie is back with this remake in 60’s cold war spy theme…
I have to admit that I was never a fan of the old TV-series “The Man From U.N.C.L.E” but on the other hand I never watched more than a couple of episodes so I won’t compare the two.
The opening scene is excellent and is with a typical Guy Ritchie style we have learned to love – and if you love fast paced action and dry humor this’ll be a movie for you!
The plot is simply (or not so as will be seen) a CIA agent that has to work together with his KGB counterpart in order to stop a criminal organisation from building nuclear bombs, and together with a female British secret agent infiltrate the criminal organisation – at the same time as they are dealing with mistrust, suspicions and inter-competitions on who’s the best spy…
Ok, it’s not going to win any Oscars or similar but it’s entertaining and at the same time with well executed actions scenes, so this is well worth watching!
I’ll give it a solid 4 out of 5 any day in the week!
