The Ridiculous 6

An outlaw who was raised by Native Americans discovers that he has five half-brothers; together the men go on a mission to find their wayward, deadbeat dad.

The latest Adam Sandler movie after the actually pretty good Pixels (which should’ve been called Voxels but more on that some other time) and this time it’s a Netflix produced movie about a bunch of half-brothers in search of enough money to free their just discovered father…

It’s an odd mix of actors and characters and the plot is both vague and, let’s be honest, lacking a script, but hey – it’s another crazy Adam Sandler movie so it must be good… or?

There are certainly funny moments like when Chico (played by President Comacho, a.k.a Terry Crews) plays piano with another body part than his hands… Funny yes but not that funny…

…and Vanilla Ice as Mark twain? WTF were they thinking? Perhaps they’d already lost the plot by then and decided to go full retard on this direct-to-TV production? Who knows.

The whole movie is based around Adam Sandler as some sort of super-indian and him being him and it’s not a great one, but if you want to waste two hours and have a few laughs then by all means, and it’s free if you have Netflix so you’re not spending any money.

I give it 2 out of 5 but the kids rates it higher… Netflix can produce good content but this one will not see a return of investment for sure.
